What we collect
This website gives information and a way to ring us. It has no order form, no contact form, no customer accounts and no comments, so we do not collect personal information through it, apart from the cookie choice record described below.
If you phone, text or message us to order logs, we collect what you give us so we can supply your order:
- your name and mobile number,
- your delivery address,
- what you ordered, the price, the delivery date and how you paid.
How we use it and why
- To deliver your order and contact you about it. This is needed to carry out our contract with you.
- To keep accounts and tax records. We have a legal duty to keep these.
- To deal with complaints or problems with an order. This is in our legitimate interest in running the business properly.
We do not sell your information. We do not make decisions about you using automated systems. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.
Reviews and photos
If you give us a review and agree to us showing it on our website, we publish your words with your name (or first name) and town. We only do this with your permission, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
The photos on our website show our vehicles, our logs and our deliveries. If a photo shows you or your property and you would like it removed, tell us and we will take it down.
If you leave a review about us on Google, that is handled by Google under its own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
Only people who help us run the business, such as our accountant, our website host, and any payment provider that takes your payment. They may only use your information to provide that service. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: for as long as the law requires for tax purposes, usually up to six years, and then we delete them.
- Reviews you have agreed to us showing: until you ask us to remove them.
Website visitors
Our website host keeps basic server logs (for example your IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. The website does not use advertising or tracking tools. When you first visit, a box asks for your cookie choice. We use the Pressidium Cookie Consent tool, which sets one small cookie called pressidium_cookie_consent on your device to remember your choice for about six months. It also keeps a record of your choice on our website (the date and time, what you chose, and your IP address) so we can show it was recorded. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom-left of the page. See our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Call us on the numbers above to ask. We will answer within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we use your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we add online ordering, payments, a contact form or visitor statistics to this website, we will update this policy first.
