About these terms
These terms apply when you buy logs from RoeBuck Logs. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Our logs
- We sell seasoned hardwood logs in bulk bags measuring about 80 x 80 x 80 cm.
- Our logs have a moisture content of less than 20% when they are supplied.
- Photographs on the website show typical bags and deliveries. Log size and species may vary from bag to bag.
Ordering
- Orders are taken by phone or message. This website does not take orders or payments.
- An order is confirmed when we agree the number of bags, the price and the delivery day with you.
- The price you are told when you order is the price you pay. Prices on the website may change, but not for an order we have already confirmed.
- If a price on the website is wrong, we will tell you before we confirm your order.
Prices and payment
- The price is £80 per bag.
- Delivery is included in the price within the free delivery area below. For addresses outside it, we will tell you the delivery price before you order.
- We will tell you how to pay when you place your order. Please pay as agreed.
Delivery
- Delivery is free within 20 miles of Hedge End.
- We will agree a delivery day with you. If something stops us keeping it, we will contact you as soon as we can to agree another.
- Please make sure we can reach the place where the bag should go, and that it is safe for us to deliver there. If access is unsafe, we may not be able to deliver.
- Please check your bag when it arrives and tell us straight away about any problem.
Cancelling and refunds
Please tell us as soon as possible if you want to cancel. If you buy from us at a distance (for example by phone), the law normally gives you 14 days after delivery to cancel, but we may only be able to collect a bag that has not been used. If the logs are not as described, you can ask us for a repair, replacement or refund as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Storing and burning logs
Keep logs dry and off the ground, and burn them in an appliance suited to solid fuel. Follow your stove maker’s instructions and have your chimney swept regularly.
Our responsibility
Nothing here limits our responsibility for things the law does not allow us to limit, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.
Complaints and law
If something goes wrong, please tell us so we can put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to it.
See our Privacy Policy for how we use your information.
